6' x 18' Landscape / Utility / Motorcycle / ATV Trailer

This Trailer was constructed from the idea of one of our members. When the customer approached us with the need for a multi purpose trailer, this is what we came up with. This trailer can be used for anything you can fit inside of it. The best part, is the fact you are able to lock your possession inside. The sides are 4' high ... so if your loading it with a 60" cut mower, it would take a crane to lift it up and out.

This 6 x 18 is equipped with two, 3,500lb. axles with electric brakes on both axles. The frame is construsted of 4" channel including the crossmembers. Most production companies use thin angle for crossmembers ... not us ... we are going to use the same thing we use on the frame every time unless the customer ask for something different. We attached a direct weld Trailer Pro 7,000 lb. tongue jack for durability. The deck was built with 10 Gauge hot roll carbon steel and welded from underneath, so is not to put seams on top. "You don't want any seams when pushing something the full length of the deck, things tend to get hung up". We knew when we built this trailer, we needed a top of the line coupler, that could handle abuse ... so we went with an Atwood 8,000 lb. painted coupler, and attached a set of zinc plated grade 30 proof coil safety chains for strength.

We wanted the owner of this trailer to see the quality, and strength, so we attached 2 tandem axle 16 gauge fenders over the running gear. We know most people will stand on the fenders at sometime in the trailers life, so we welded the fenders to the frame at every touching point. A 250lb man is able to stand on the fenders without the possibility of damaging them. The lighting used, were DOT approved LED submersible Tail / Stop / Turn & Tag lights, minus the tag light on the right side, and we wired the lighting and the brakes with 10 Gauge wiring and protected the wiring with Flex-Loom wire covering.

The sides of the trailer were made with 2 x 2 x 1/4" tubing for the vertical posts and 3/4" 10 gauge expanded metal. The tail gate was attached with 2 1" hinges and made with 2 x 2 x 3/16" tubing and covered with 3/4" 10 gauge raised expanded metal. Then we coated this trailer twice with Industrial Marine Primer and Paint, for a durable finish that can stand up in any weather and take alot of abuse.

Everything that was used on this trailer is the same brands we offer to the public at great prices. We can even assist you in installing our parts on your equipment as long as you are somewhat mechanically enabled.
